Today seen the finishing touches put to the installation of significant new Speednet Scotland infrastructure enabling deployment of 20mb speeds to the rural Ayrshire villages of Auchencloigh & Cunningham-head.
Apologies to any of our existing customers who may have had a slight overnight disruption to their services while this essential work was carried out. We are sure you will be delighted to see the upgraded network in action. If you wish to receive any of the faster speed tariffs now available please contact us. Thank you for your patience
This past week has also seen the launch of 20mb services to the estate of Auchengate just outside Troon. This community of 100 properties was being serviced by an exchange over 6km away in Irvine. Prior to Speednet supplying it's wireless solution the residents were achieving internet speeds of well under 1mb. Thus far we have had a very good response and have brought 8 of the households into the 21st century with many adopting the 20mb tariff.
Finally, we have been delighted to extend the reach of our broadband services to new customers in many other rural parts of Ayrshire. Having had a very busy week with a constant influx of new enquiries we also successfully supplied our high speed airborne broadband to customers in areas including Stair, Fenwick, Kilmaurs, Kilmarnock, Sinclairston and St Quivox.
If you are a community, business or an individual who thinks they could benefit from our expertise in supplying broadband to a remote location please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
